So it is day 2 of my challenge and I am still at it WOOT WOOT! The first few days are always the most challenging so I am happy. I took my measurements today on my broken scale (it's about 4lbs off but I'll accept it as added "motivation").
So I am a beautiful...
175lbs
32" waist
44" hips
That's all I could muster up the energy to measure this morning.
As of now I am doing P90X as my daily dose of exercise, and I must say I am very very sore. Last night I did Kenpo X along with Ab Ripper and tonight I did the Legs &Back exercise. My buns are on fire!!!! Two summers ago I actually did P90X and lost 13lbs during my summer vacation. Although I've kept the weight off, I was not able to complete the routines as easily as I could back then. This is definitely the challenge that keeps on giving!
I feel great though and I didn't feel the urge to snack at all today. Along with eating healthier I decided I will try to add cinnamon and Cayenne pepper to my tea since I have heard a lot about the many health benefits of these spices in improving circulation and aiding in weight loss. I put about a teaspoon of cinnamon and Cayenne pepper combined into my tea. It sounds crazy, but it's not as horrible as it may seem the cinnamon really covers the taste of the pepper.
So between my sore buns and thighs, along with my daily dosage of Cayenne.... I am a HOT GAL TODAYYY

Signals from the Television transmitted by Turkeys
I am unsure if I'd call it divine intervention or a prevention tactic developed by holiday television schedulers. However, there must be a reason I skimmed past "The Biggest Loser: Where are they now?" rather than (one of my favorites) " Man vs. Food".
Now, Turkey day has passed and the left overs devoured I began to think of past failed attempts in reaching my "obtainable" weight loss goals. At 20 years old I already consider myself a life long dieter, beginning at the tender age of 12. What have I learned form this lifetime of dieting? Diets don't yield results! In response to self doubting thoughts I surfed the web and registered for the National Body Challenge. As uber healthy thoughts were running through my mind, a crazy idea popped into my head. I WILL DO MY OWN CHALLENGE! vola! all problems are now solved... hopefully.
Hips to Waste! Yes, that is what I have much of but the mission of this challenge is not to rid myself of curves and obtain unrealistic goals, but rather promote a healthier lifestyle. The challenge rules are listed below and I will abide by them for approximately 365 days! (yes, one whole year)
